About the author: I'm an author, public speaker, owner of mango tree craft collections, cancer survivor, certified urban planner and an unapologetic mango lover. Why create this blog? Over the last decade I've encountered a series of adversities that would cripple most people. However, these unexpected tragedies ironically have taught me how to be resilient and trust God even when the way ahead seemed daunting and uncertain. This blog called Tanya the Mango Lady is a positive consequence of my season of adversity. Its my wall of reflection. A place for recharge, inspiration, insight and impact. I pray for healing upon all who pass by. I trust you will gain strength from my stories in your quest to overcome your own adversities. The name is inspired by the mango, my favorite fruit. In so many cultures the mango epitomizes all that is sweet, satisfying and savory. I hope my blog will be all that and more for you as we journey together from bitter to sweet, or from lighthearted to deep. Despite the seasons of adversity, thus far its been an amazing journey of growth and self discovery! I continue to press on by Gods grace and through His strength. I pray my stories inspire you to press on in hope and freedom as well. Firmly, but humbly enough, I believe the best is yet to come.

    I know the feeling of running into dead ends myself. You feel like you’re all alone and don’t want to be a bother to others sharing your hurt and pain. Thank you for sharing such an inspirational and motivational messages. Without the Grace of God and Prayer 🙏🏻 I’m not sure where I would be today. I give God all the Glory. You are truly a blessing so please keep inspiring, motivating and encouraging because you are beautiful inside and outside my sista.

    Woman of Zion!!! What a true testament to God’s amazing goodness! In a time of turbulence and darkness, when the world is riddled with misery and woe, here comes this beam of hope. Hallelujah!
    Thanks for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you. The blessing that this blog offers will fill the hearts of many. As Paul says, the gospel is shared from faith to faith. Thanks for spreading the Good News that God is love and He deeply loves and cares for us.

    Your blog is amazing, inspiring, and most importantly leads us back to the word! Your various tests now ring true as your testimonies! You are an inspiration. Sometimes we go through things and say “why Lord, I’m one of your faithful, why me?” Sometimes we discover that that test has given us a tool/weapon/manual and that same tool/weapon/manual, because we already obtain it in our arsenal, is used to help someone else in their immediate battle. May God continue to bless and keep you. May he continue to lift you up. May you continue to soar with his wings.
